Partner FAQ's
Who can sign up?
Anyone can become a Partner. Once you join, we’ll give you everything you need to get started, including support and training.
How do I sign up?
It’s simple. Either click here to sign up, or contact us for a chat and we will be able to guide you through the next steps and answer any further questions you may have.
How do I get started?
We’ll help you get off on the front foot with everything you need, from free training and online resources to support from more experienced Partners. You just need yourself and access to an online device such as a laptop or tablet that you can use during appointments.
What will I need to do?
Once you’ve completed your online introductory training course, you’ll be able to start reaching out to people that you think you can help.
You’ll be encouraged to make a list of people you know and then speak to them about the services UW offers, helping them save time and money on bills.
How do I earn money?
As a Partner, your role is to refer our services, helping people switch to UW.
How you go about it is up to you, whether it’s through informal chats over a cup of tea with people you know (our Partners’ preferred method), virtually from the comfort of your home, or even reaching out to people you might not have met before.
Every time someone you refer switches their services to UW, you’ll earn what we call a Customer Bonus – this is normally between £250-£300 per new customer. You’ll also earn what we call Residual Income. Think of this a bit like royalties: once someone you refer sign up, you’ll get a % of their monthly bill paid to you as a monthly commission for as long as they remain a UW customer.

What if I don’t know many people?
That’s ok. We’ll help you come up with a list of people you do know, whether that’s friends or acquaintances, and tell you about other ways you can find more people that you can help switch to UW.
Is there anyone to help me?
Absolutely. If you’ve been introduced to UW by a Partner they’ll be there every step of the way to support you and help you on the road to success. Del is also a Company Trainer/Mentor so you are in good hands.
I don’t know anything about utilities
Don’t worry, we’ll provide you with all the relevant training you need, as well as plenty of resources. Plus, you’ll have access to tonnes of advice and help from like-minded Partners to support you.
Why become a UW Partner?
Each Partner has their own reason for joining UW, whether that’s more financial security, flexibility to work their own hours or more time with the kids. UW offers so much more than an income. Head over to our uwstories page and hear how people from all walks of life benefitted from becoming a UW Partner.
How much does it cost?
There’s a small upfront cost to join as a Partner, just a one-off £10 fee. This covers the administration costs for everything from setting you up, to training and the digital tools we make available to you. And from month three, there’ll be a £3 monthly licence fee deducted from each commission statement.
